Please leave the team as 27/05/11

I have just watched the game and read all the posts presented.. To Richard Graham Please leave this team as it is to mature. The Boys played with passion and pride no negatives other than the score board at the siren..
Show that when kids who want to play get the chance they rise to the occasion ( reminds me of the 1st half of 2010 season when we had all the young ones replacing our injured )... The whole team gave it its all Great pairing and communication with our 9 and 10 .. Greaty to see times that the forwards were 2nd and 3 rd receivers giving them time to get over advantage line good plays with Chucky and Sheps ( might have to change chuckys name to commander in chief ) as they switched postions well and the calls were wide and varied all players running onto the ball..
I agree with all the positive comments made before this post

It would be nice if JOC played at 12 mind.

Stannard can stay at 10. And I would give Swanepoel another run at 9.

Force to keep backline quartet in Perth Justin Chadwick And Jim Morton

    .AAP

The Western Force have decided against calling in the reinforcements for the second leg of their New Zealand tour, giving James O'Connor and company extra time to recover ahead of Saturday week's Super Rugby clash with Queensland.

O'Connor (neck/shoulder), scrumhalf Brett Sheehan (leg), five-eighth Willie Ripia (calf) and Gene Fairbanks (leg) will miss Friday night's clash with the Highlanders in Dunedin, leaving the Force to again field a threadbare backline.

Scrumhalf James Stannard is set to fill in at five-eighth again, while Mark Swanepoel will play at scrumhalf for just his third cap.

They combined brilliantly in last week's 34-28 loss to the Hurricanes, and Force coach Richard Graham said there was little to benefit from recalling any players who still had question marks over their fitness.

"I'm not bringing any of the (injured) boys over," Graham said from NZ on Monday.

"All of them are there thereabouts in terms of fitness but by the time they get over here they would only get to train with us at the captain's run.

"If you bring one or two in that would compromise the whole squad.

"Definitely they will all be fit and come back in contention for our game against the Reds on June 11.

"It's important to reward the group for their performance (against the Hurricanes), albeit we didn't get the result we were after."

The Force conceded two tries in the final 10 minutes against the Hurricanes to slump to their eighth loss of the season, a lapse that did not escape the attention of Graham.

"That's nine out of 13 that we've led at the 65th minute mark," Graham said.

"That (closing out games better) is something that we've tried to address."

Hopefully they will improve a bit more, get a result against the Highlanders and give him plenty of selection dilemmas for the last home game.

"That's nine out of 13 that we've led at the 65th minute mark," Graham said.

Going to be very interesting and I think the Highlanders aren't going to be as wish washy as the 'Cains though.

You got it, SNOBS. They are a different proposition. This will be the real test and we will not have the element of surprise.

Either way it'll be fascinating to watch. Chucky won't have the 15 minutes of luxury he had to warm up against the Canes, but surely he wouldn't need it. The boys will be tested, but should be fitter and sharper. It'll be an 80 minute long chess game, hopefully played at a zillion miles an hour by two teams throwing everything at each other......can't wait!

Are you going to guarantee that.............

The kiwis will probably play "Skippy" as our lads run out and will follow up with some dave Dobbin for the locals

Our lads will be mesemerised by kiwi stupidity. It's important to get used to the mind tricks and learn the lingo of the referees

    I'm on Rex's wagon.

    Dead set.

If we lose I'll be filthy.

    That'll do me.
