This is the thread that Coach Graham can draw on before every game. A resource of cunning ideas if you will.
He clearly needs inspiration as his using the crowd as the 16th man idea against the Tahs was just dreadful.
I'll get the ball rolling......
Week 14, Force V Brumbies.
The Brumbies are hungry for the win and might be dangerous this week after being tagged as bludgers by their own coach, BUT Matt Giteauauaua's confidence is shot to pieces after being carpeted at home in his 100th Super Rugby game. It wouldn't be drawing too long a bow to suggest that he might be feeling a little frail.
The cunning plan....
After studying the Super Rugby Lawbook in detail I have discovered a major loophole that can and should be exploited. This tactic will mentally incapicitate the recipient. The physcological damage will take a good 4-6 to rehab from and is totally legal.
Get Pocock to Dack Gits. (early in the first half)
This will completely shatter his cocky demenour, particularly if Poey does it in a sneaky way, say in front of a bunch of pretty girls in the members area. It will be even more effective if he manages to get his jocks too. This will clearly have a knock on affect on the rest of the Brumbies. They will all be too scared to go anywhere near Pocock in case he dacks them too. This will render their entire foward pack useless. Pocock could then use Git's jocks as some sort of headband, a trophy...
This is where this strategy gets brilliant though...
If the Brumbies have a non functioning forward unit we won't have to kick the ball to their poofter backs, thereby leading to a chain of events where we can run the ball and score tries! The added bonus is our fowards can enjoy a mini bye and treat this as a training run, they could use it to perfect important techniques such as 'Scrum Face' and sledging. (I suggest they draw inspiration from Kees Meus here, just my 2 cents worth).
The backs will be scoring tries, so perhaps in training this week they should work on their post try celebrations. Honestly, the fist pump or ball slam is just old now. A good post try move always gets great You Tube hits, when QC pulled off that backflip, he drew tons of positive comments such as "U da man bro" and "I neva seen dat b5 ow" apparently from his fellow countrymen. I think this week JOC should embrace this new craze of 'Planking' and just lie on the ground with the second player arriving pretending to take his pic and post it to Facebook.
Just ideas.
