Why? Apart from the insanity of basing his decision even partly on one match, most of the ponies team that were on the park will be overseas or interstate next year and many of his potential Reds mates wer on sick call.

Stannard has massive ones. Isn't it great seeing a Force 10 being creative, organising a backline, taking the ball to the line, putting runners in gaps, creating space for runners, making breaks, taking the line on..........ie options and results.

If JOC leaves, the sun will come up.

More still, Rex, is that the enormous amount of 3rd party and Force money (I am pretty sure he uses up one of the Force's extra money player slots) could be redirected into depth rather than individual brilliance.

Yep Stannard is on fire... amazing that he has waited so long to get a start both the little pony club and at Cloud Street… just shows opportunity is rarer than talent… especially after his 7s success. He’s a better 10 than scrum half.

Keep up the good work James Stannard…
