Assuming he goes - he's saying he won't make a decision until after the World Cup: http://wwos.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=8249176

A problem with Graham's quote in the SMH article:

"If you look at the forwards alone, one thing within our program is we've got some of the best young forwards in the country," Graham told AAP on Friday.

"Melbourne, with the foreign law, are going to lose seven of their forward pack over the next one, two, three years."
We could also lose our pack in the next one, two, three years. Players only sign 1-3 year contracts, and Melbourne would be chasing our guys (why wouldn't they?)

Why would our stars stay? If Jon O'Neill dismantles the academy and we continue playing uninspiring rugby in a stadium with piss-poor facilities, why would any fringe Wallaby stay here when they can head east and get talked up by a sycophantic media.

I am amazed that no-one has mentioned the article in the Sunday Times today about our beloved captain, once again being totally unselfish, and committed to the Force and it's players, ...by relinquishing his Captaincy for the "better" of the Force, and giving the young guns an opportunity..ie. Bam and Rabbit...
    .......???

Why would he stay? Last year WF finished second bottom, this year it looks like a similar story. What's going to happen next year? It'll be GroundHog day. The Reds are at the top of the table. That's where JOC should go. He'll have the best chance of success there. WF need players, we don't have the personnel to succeed in the Super 15. We might beat the cellar dwellers and turn over a good side once or twice, but that's all we'll ever be able to do unless someone comes along with a wallet full of cash.

The buzz is... If JOC goes to the Reds he'll get an extra hour of day light to get bitten by the Ballymore mosquitoes… Do you think he’s thought it all through?

O'Connor doesn't need to go to the Reds to win. He will get enough winning playing for the Wallabies for the next 5-10 years.
