This kicks off this weekend.

Word on the street is that Guildford & Aquinas are out to end Hale's 8 year grip on the Redmond Cup.

Pre season news in PSA land- Trinity went to Singapore, not sure how they went, Hale to Sydney lost to Sydney Grammar, beat St Aloysius, Various trial games took place last weekend, including good wins for Aquinas & Guildford.

On Saturday Trinity play Aquinas, Christchurch v Guildford, Scotch v Hale.

Should be a good season! Will keep results posted as they come to hand.

Word has it that these teams will be strong this year. Guildford were runners up last year and have a number back. AC touched up Wesley in a trial and are supposed to be stronger than they have been. But who knows at the end of the day.
Lots of uncontrollables out there!!!!!!!!

No doubt Ecky all teams will be striving to do well- some might be stronger than others.

How do I find out when these games are on and where their played?

Wouldn't mind having a look at the quality of rugby going on compared to regular non PSA rugby at this level.

.......and the 1st XV games are usually at 10:45am or thereabouts, except where the games are "1st teams only" (per the Hale fixtures), when they are at 10:00am.

one of the dads whose kids play with my Son is heavily involved in the GG rugby program, is talking up their chances.. but then he did that last year too... which is a good indicator that they MAY actually do it this time round as many of their players are returning this year.

Wesley co-won the cup with Hale in 2008. beat Hale in the last game, after losing the first round. Copious amounts of dubious assessment that game... against Hale.
