JOC - Reds try again ?

Another day another JOC grab story.. This time apparently Red's have decided to give it a go again.. There's more drama with this lot than the Ms America Pageant..

Although i (an everyone else) dont want him to leave.. I think the reds would be one hell of a team with him onboard.. Story below:

THE race for James O'Connor's signature has intensified with Queensland Reds coach Ewen McKenzie telephoning the Wallabies whiz kid on the weekend.
"There has been so much newspaper talk about him leaving the Western Force that I thought I would find out for myself where he stood," McKenzie told The Australian.

"I'm not into inducing players to leave their teams and I've always believed that people tend to stay where they are and it's generally hard to get them to leave.

"But if he is determined to leave the Force or he wants a change - let's face it, he has been with them for the past four years - it would be crazy not to talk to him."

McKenzie had never spoken to O'Connor, 20, before so he was forced to introduce himself. The two chatted only briefly.

"James told me he is basically canvassing his options and suggested I speak with his manager, which I'll be doing first thing Monday," McKenzie said.

what an absolute "bollocks" of an article.

"I had to introduce myself to James"..... what JOC has never heard of a 1 Ewen McKenzie ?

Who ever wrote this, do you think JOC has had his head buried in the sand for the past 20 years of his life. crap !!

What a load of....I just wish the speculation would cease..and Rabbit concentrates on the job at hand...we have a big game coming up, and we need EVERYONE focused...and holding on to that winning feeling rush they had on Sunday for the full 80 on Saturday this week...

COME ON everyone at the FORCE GET A GRIP AND FOCUS....What happens happens, but in the mean time there is a job to do....

McKenzie has spoken to JOC's management.

He'll sign for them not the rebels.

Can the Reds come up with the money for him? The Rebels can and Brumbies only if he wanted to go there...

What's best for his development, surely not the rebels.

We can't offer him anything other than nice weather.

Reds were only just crying poor about not being able to afford van humphries and houston under the salary cap.
Force should have a crack at Morahan.
