Apparently he has been sent by TIF to check out some drinking establishments before the InnForcers tour.

Awesome. No doubt he will be doing a secret health and fitness test. According to his removalists he only owns an Xbox in Perth so the move won't be too hard either.

It would be a bit ironic if JO'C did go to Melbourne. After all in our second year we stole Matt Giteau from the Brumbies when we came into the competition. Pretty sure that Giteau regrets the decision, maybe we can get him to talk JO'C out of a move away from Perth.

You can't deny Melbourne has a top class stadium and other goodies to act as attractions ... The climate, however may work in our favour. Despite climate change it is still bloody cold in winter.

These were Mark Ella's thoughts in The Australian last weekend...

"As time goes on, the Rebels will be obliged to reduce their foreign imports, which means they will become even more aggressive in the marketplace for quality Australian players. This will be a big challenge for the Brumbies and Force.

"At the moment the two traditional states, NSW and Queensland, are the dominant forces in Australian rugby, not always because they are superior on the rugby field but because they are more reliable to get home then the other three Australian Super rugby franchises.

"The way the rugby world is aligning I can see Melbourne rising in the next few years to create an eastern seaboard stranglehold making it harder for the Force to have any realistic impact because of its isolation in the west.

"The Brumbies and the Force need to act quickly to ensure they remain competitive in the marketplace because success breeds success and failure breeds failure."

Let's hope it rains like hell and is cold as while JOCs there - then he returns to our cool Autumn temps of 27 degrees

If James leaves I think that'll be a bigger kick in the guts than Giteau or Drew or Ioane combined. We're the only club that was willing to take a risk on the little guy back in 2008, and I'd like to think there's something there that he feels he owes the force to stick it out here when the going gets tough.

But I like to think James O'Connor has some balls and actually sees a future here at the force (see; bringing little brother over to play in our premier grade). He'll stay

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

Okay I was putting 1 and 1 together, equaling 3 and filling in the gaps. There is only one ground he'll be at next year if its not the Force and thats the Ballymore of Queensland... thats my bet.
    I hope not.. 2 reasons

    1. Western Force need JOC more then QLD does
    2. JOC arriving means another player will be forced out(especially with the mooted salary cap) which can at times breed frustration in the squad
