Last week against the Rebels I was frustrated. Another game we could have won but lost from what I thought/think was/is a lack of self motivation and possibly a lack of self confidence.

This week, I'm not as frustrated. The Tahs were simply a much more superior and classy side. We were out-muscled, out-run, out everthing. The Tahs gave little away when they had possession (without looking at the stats I suspect they had majority of), ran the ball hard both in close and out wide and I congratulate them on a game well played. To put it bluntly, I was entertained by the Tahs.

Finally, I have taught my kids well..they refused to leave until the final siren. The KQs be there in full strength next game. (Still) Love the Force.

Bronski, your been overly melodramatic, Nathan Sharpe is the heart and soul of the Force, the Force haven't been losing because of poor tactics or strategies, in fact that very leadership and clever tactics are what kept the Force in games they could have lost by more.

The problem for the Force in 2011 was always going to be the player depth, whilst the starting 15 is a formidable side, the bench players and squad players are either to young, to inexperienced or simply not Super Rugby quality.

Once again in 2011 the Force have been unlucky with injuries and this has exasperated the depth issue. Player recruitment and retention is hardly Sharpe's role, and considering Graham only came into the team late in 2010 he was pretty limited in the pool of players he could recruit from.

Before you tell people that, come up with your own solution for us to look at.

*Sacking people isn't a solution, who exactly will replace those who are sacked?

I don't have to give you a solution because I'm a supporter who goes to the game, screams a little then get's over the fact we were shit on Saturday. I don't care if we are shit for the rest of the year I am still going to go and watch, support and scream a little bit! I'm certainly not going to pop on here and call for the scalp of people who are doing a fucking lot more for the team than you are!

There are people who are a lot more qualified and know a lot more about rugby than I, so if you want a solution you go and turn up to RugbyWA and tell them yours - be vocal, put up a big banner telling them what your solution is!!

you are a bandwagon supporter and lucky for the rest of us you're a minority - maybe Coach should rename you to Boring Beat. Just another know it all keyboard warrior!

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

Lol, you might just be the last one standing.

A lot of us prefer a team that is competitive. That's just human nature.

Its very easy to knock someone eles ideas from your armchair perhaps slumped over your keyboard sucking back cheese burgers but really if you want to bag someones ideas maybe come up with some better ones genius.

    as for ideas..

Play JOC at 12... change attacking game plan to a Deep wedge rather than flat line, put Sheps back at 15 (if he's fit). Give the forwards a heap of red bull before they start the game....

there you have my ideas... now go watch GAYFL or whatever else it is that you do when the Force lose..

    The thought police get working

Ok, from the tone of this discussion, it looks like future membership renewals and applications for the Western Force may be vetted by the "Get on board or get out of the way" thought police.

The current membership of the Force is around 12,000 (I think?).

What do you reckon the minimum sustainable membership of the Force is, before RugbyWA have to switch off the lights at nib and put the franchise up for sale? 8,000? 6,000? 5,000?

Way back in 2005 they were hoping for about 5000 members in year 1

Should we be looking higher up the Force tree? Are Sharpie and Graham getting the motivation, tools, guidance and leadership from the board?
