    Inmans eldibow was pointing the wrong way!

    That was the worst ref I have ever seen, and I am an allblacks supporter who has seen every RWC game.

    That's how bad he was!

    Thought Wykes had a pretty good game actually.

    i thought Wykes was up there as one of the best forwards, his work rate was awesome and he was getting across the advantage quite well.

    We did well to win turnover ball and get into good positions but then our execution let us down. Passes too hard or not in the bread basket. 10/12 combination not that good. Jeez I hope Ripia is fit for next week.

    Agreed as commented previously........juss having a dig at our rex's obvious distaste for wykes.

    From the post match interview: Early signs say Inman could be a low as 3 weeks. Pocock hard to say. Nothing else worth mentioning.

    Bloody hell I had a 90,000 word post that just disappeared with the merged thread so here is the gist of it;

    Force were way too flat and Fairbanks can't step 2 blokes flat footed.
    Shorks were very deep and could meet the force on the advantage line and easily break it due to the sliding defence.

    Inman looks like a week, Sidey will probably get an automagic minimum of 2 for the red so will we see this next week;

    10) Ripia 12) O'Connor 13) Mafi ?

    I dont see sidey getting suspended. It was fairbanks input to the tackle that turned it into a dangerous situation.

    My post looks like it went to..ah well.. Hopefully Sidey won't get anything more for that tackle, there wasn't any malice in it, just over eagerness I suspect and I agree with Haji the fact that two of them made the tackle made the outcome worse than it would have been

    Disappointed by the ball skills when it looked like we had something building, disappointed by the ref most of the time but impressed that the Force kept it together and kept playing till the end. Missed whatever Cummin's was alleged to have done..someone please tell me? I only realised he was off when they were under the posts and I kept on only counting 13 players..

    Ripia won't play next week, as his foot is still in a moon boot.

    Though defense of the No 13 will be crucial against the Blues, so Graham likely to go for an established centre like Fairbanks...

    Red card is an automatic one week suspension isn't it? And seeing as it was reported as a spear they'll probably bump it up just because they can.

    I agree with Andrew on the ball handling skills - it was very first game of the year, the bye did them no good.

    cullet was called for a late tackle. I thought the hit was a beauty and legal myself.
