Tired for First 2011 Home Game?

    James' Twitter from this morning:
Jst landed in Melb with 5 hours sleep to my name- all ready craving my bed can't wait to do the commercial sounds like an awesome setup!
What's he doing on red eye flights to Melbourne just a few days before first big home game? Or am I just too old now and this is something any 20 YO can shrug off and still perform 100% on match day?

I read that, and those were my exact thoughts Coach.
But then, I'm probably around about your age.

PS, and he doesn't have kids to look after.

Don't know about the sleep factor old man but I don't think I would want my Flyhalf MIA at training two days out from a match!

No team training Tuesday or Wednesday, just on Thursday morning and Captains Run mid Friday.

He'll probably fly back tonight and be pretty ordinary at training in the morning.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Rabbit is on an earlier flight back to Perth (according to his tweet), giving him close to 70 hours in Perth before kickoff. That will be plenty of time for him to be right for the game.

The secret for short trips across timezones is best handled when you don't try to adjust to the time at your destination.

It's not like I have any experience in this form of travel

Well, better if he is only going to get 5 hours sleep in the week before a game, better it is on a plane than on the piss...

I'm pretty sure Rabbit would be at the very pointy end of the plane as well
