I am just SOOOOOO darned excited....unable to focus on work today...I think I will just look busy checking all the Rugby sites...(don't tell the BOSS!!!)....
hmm... that is a pretty good bench then :/
Sunday will be pretty warm - about 34 degree max, but at least they don't start until late afternoon. The heat may affect The Reds bigger pack, so the bench will likely be cleared.
Should be more than 30000 there - it will be a cracker.
Ah, rugby's back - ain't it grand?........................if you're winning
Perth has been absolutely scorching the last couple of days. Hopefully our guys will cope with anything.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Link isn't a clever man
35+ degrees and 90% humidity
he picks a pack of fat boys
Dead set, it's like the Kiwis training in the snow for the RWC in Australia
This is the best news ever.
Controversy corner
On the other hand, the Reds have played and won trial matches in Darwin and Cairns - so they have some heat conditioning already.
And Rex 35 degrees would not mean high humidity - the humidity up here rises at lower temps. By kick off, I would predict 28-29 degrees and 75% humidity. Second half will be 26-27 degrees and 80% humidity.

11. Dom Shipperley
10. Dallan Murphy
9. Ian Prior
8. Jake Schatz (c)
7. Liam Gill
6. Lei Tomiki
5. Tim Buchanan
4. David McDuling
3. Guy Shepherdson
2. Albert Anae
1. Shon Siemonek.
Reserves:
16. Jack Kimmince
17. James Charalambous
18. Blake Enever
19. Jarrod Butler
20. Mat Lucas
21. Matt Brandon
22. Mitchell Felsman
A lot of those players could easily slip into a Super Rugby starting side..
There's a few Qld boys there that know how to handle the humidity.
A few years ago (before the Reds were complete crap) the Reds played the Crusaders in similar temps. Everyone thought the 'Saders would wilt and die and Qld would run wild. The opposite happened.
Who'd have thunk it?
