I always disliked them because News Ltd, after raping Australian RL for the sake of pay TV content, simply closed down the Western Reds, packed them off to Melbourne and called them the Storm. Minileague was a great game in its day. It used to be a contest for gladiators with the last man standing the winner.
Nowadays they have trainers all over the field handing the nancies drinks; they come off every 20 minutes for a rest on the interchange; they have a blood bin; players have a month off if they catch cold; they like gang banging teenagers and standing around masturbating whilst awaiting their turn at sloppy extras
A once mighty game destroyed by ridiculous rule changes, and the culling of mighty clubs
It was also spolied by a fist full of f@rkwits called the "footy show" that liked to dress up in womens clothing and hold hands
It didn't stack up against my fantastic show in the 70's.............and how about the opening music to my match of the day?

Very accurate comment. I can't remember how many years the unlimited interchange ran. But between that and the Superleague fiasco that was how many years I didn't watch a game of RL.
They are getting close to the right number of interchanges now and the game is on the improve.
