The Epping is supposed to be pretty good - but I cant say with any certainty.

Interesting to see Battye starting ahead of Hocking.
Also no Bam Bam, Shep, Sheehan or Cummins.
And OConnor at 15. Not my pick for him.

I think the backs must be a put up or shut up for mafi and Fairbanks. If this back line works, we know there's a shit load of options, if it doesn't we need to be more conventional.

    Good point.
If that is the case then I am a little disappointed Sidey isnt in the team.
Although there is no real question as to where Inman will play, and the positions that really havent been settled on have Mafi and Fairbanks trialled in. Maybe Sidey will come off the bench then?

Maybe Sidey will be playing in the 'a' game, it's not like the baa baas fixture is going to be particularly troubling for a super rugby team.

There'll probably be a lot of mucking around with set plays, trialling different defensive systems and such like, I can't imagine the score will be too meaningful.

Shame in a way they couldn't make the Barbarians side out of entirely uncontracted players. Gives a level of competition for the Force, but I'm sure between the NSW, Qld and ACT comps there would be 22 players worthy of the fixture and deserving of recognition and a second look by scouts.
