Or the Jones family from Wales: Michael Jones, Owen Jones, Joan Jones (swimmer), Adam Rhys Jones, Jones Thomas Jones, Ryan Jones.

They all have the same father right?

Ok ok so lots of siblings have actually done it, but my point was it isn't all that common. All of you have cited bunches of examples, but they come from the entirety of professional sport (and in some cases cast the net a bit wider than I was intending) if you average the (approximately) fifty names posted here against the thousands of people who pay pro sport at the highest level then it would still end up a pretty low probability.

Btw, nobody has done father/son yet have they?

You lot seemed to be having so much fun, I didn't want to spoil it.

I still reckon if you convert it to a probability, it doesn't matter how many names you throw up, it's a small number.

Andy Farrell and his son Owen both played for Saracens in the same game against the Western Force in 2008. Pretty impressive effort for a father/son duo in the same professional team. Made it easier that in true rugby league bogan style Owen was conceived when Andy was 15. Andy was apparently an English rugby league great (you get the feeling Eddie Jones was involved in that defection some how) who was pretty average in union. Apparently Owen is going to be good.

You may be on to something with your RL bigotry there, James.

The great "Lord" Ted Goodwin must be a machine. He had 3 sons play alongside him when he was captain coach of the Willagee Bears in the early 1990's. Two of them went on to play in the NRL (Luke and Leon). Not such a big deal you reckon? Well Teddy apparently kept knocking them out for a lot of years after those boys and still has three sons playing in the NRL today. Someone buy the man a TV!!

According to JoC's parents, Jonny is a better player when compared with where James was at that age.

    At the Reds

    Luke & Simon Morahan
    Ben & Matt Lucas
Will & Nigel Genia (wider training squad i believe)

If you want to talk father/son, then Ben Daley is the son of Phil Daley, NSW State Of Origin prop

Parents always love the second child more, it's a fact of life

We need a new way to shorten JOC, there's too many of them to get confused with.
