South Coast rugby union fans are in for a treat when the NSW Waratahs take on the Western Force in a unique preseason double-header early next year at Shoalhaven Rugby Park.
The Waratahs will play the Force in back-to-back trials on the same night on February 10 - one week before the start of the 2011 Super 15 season.

I wanna tell you it’s gonna be okay. I wanna tell you that the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror for a reason, because what’s in front of you is so much more important than what’s behind you."

Same question.....I haven't heard anything yet, surely there's a plan in place by now?

If this is correct then I am surprised. Previous trial games were well attended and I assumed they were money-spinners for the club. I'm not sure of the facts, but if trials in Perth were revenue raisers for the club then you would be wondering why none are planned for 2011. (or maybe they were not that profitable, does anyone know?)
Having the club travel interstate together for trial matches certainly has its benefits, but (not wanting to sound like Scrooge McForce) does the club get a percentage of the gate? or just their expenses covered?. What are the usual financial arrangements for trials?
IMHO, you have to have a mix, but you need to remain aware that trials are for the benefit of the rugby program, not the players.
If they have identified issues with their travel procedures it wouldn't be surprising to see more interstate or OS trials, but you also want to lay the groundwork at home to ensure you win the vital home games!
