Best thing that can happen is for the Force 2nds to beat the Brumby Runners and Junior Waratahs in February - especially as previously announced fixtures make it look like the matches will take place right before this new competition will kick off. If they can stuff the eastern states boys that makes their case for inclusion a lot more compelling - if they get smashed then not so much.

How come they can possibly call themselves the ARU...when they don't treat all the teams in the ARU equally....I was altogether P*** when I read it...what are they trying to do to us....JON needs to answer some darned questions....darned straight.....!!!!

They don't ..or didn't get much support from their "SUPPORTER" base..so to have an extra comp will surely deminish the funds from their clubs even more....

I don't understand the logic of this at all....there is an almighty smell about it.....Rugby WA must get to the bottom of this debacle, and get some straight dialogue going, and get true answers as to what the bloody hell is going on here!!!!.

I'm with you, I was equally p***'d (although I'm not altogether sure what that means).

I'm hoping now that Melbourne is involved at the higher level aswell, that there will be more of a move to equality, or at least that we get brought up from the bottom to level with the other lesser states. If we are a state with a SuperRugby teams shouldn't we get the same as VIC?

When was the last time the Western Force academy side actually turned out? QLD, NSW and ACT academy sides playied each other in quite a few matches this year, but no western force academy side participated....

As I mentioned they will play the Brumbies and Waratahs academies in February. The Force academy only played a couple of games against local Perth teams this year.

if ever there was ever an oxymoron that would be it...

no WF academy side playing against other academy sides because we dont get invited to send our academy sides over to play them and they refuse to come over here because they know theyd get their asses handed to them on WF home grounds.. maybe they dont like the hard ground or something?
