Stannard was 'chuffed' to win silver. Clearly I come from completely different school of thought to the man. Perhaps that's one of the major problems in Aus Rugby. We seem to be happy to lose or in this case lose the Gold as long as we put in a good performance. Hmm...disappointing. Call me a bad loser I don't care but winning is an attitude and to be 'chuffed' with a loss is a losing attitude.

2nd is a good result. NZ are simply the best team there and anything but a win for them would be shocking. We performed to our strengths in finishing second and the silver medal is well deserved.

Stannard is an amazing player. In every single game he played he was probably the best on pitch. It will be great to see him for the Force next season.

I only saw the final but Stannard had a blinder. Was actually a really enjoyable game apart from the result.

South Africa got the bronze.

I'm glad the Aussies were smiling on the podium it shows good sportsmanship.
Nothing worse than a sour looking person collecting silver or bronze.

played a great game in thie lost to the kiwis in India last nite... this guy looks like he has matured alot since his last stint at EWF....looking forward to his services... give Sheehan some stiff comp. Pity Nick didnt get more of a run.

Some of our key players were sucking wind in the 2nd half. The kiwis made some significant changes at the right time and we didnt have te legs to keep up.
