    Australian Country Origin XV

Here's an Australian Country XV to ponder from those who I understand to be from country town origins. A pretty decent team I think?:

    Australian Country Origin XV

    1 Nic Henderson
    2 James McCormack
    3 Greg Holmes
    4 Mark Chisholm
    5 Nathan Sharpe (C.)
    6 Daniel Heenan
    7 Hugh McMeniman
    8 David Lyons
    9 Matt Henjak
    10 Stephen Larkham
    11 Caleb Brown
    12 Gene Fairbanks
    13 Scott Staniforth
    14 Peter Hewat
    15 Chris Latham (VC)
    16 Angus Scott
    17 AJ Whalley
    18 Alex Kanaar
    19 Richard Brown
    20 Brett Sheehan
    21 Tim Atkinson
    22 Joel Wilson

Burgs - how are you classifying 'country'? Does Adelaide (or even Perth!) classify as 'country'?!

I think we should be told!!!

"I come from a small country town called Sydney"....
In this instance JK as far as I know all of the listed players originate from outside of the capital cities or surrounding suburbs.
So in a hypothetical, Joondalup would be City but Mandurah would be Country.
If you want one more remote then I can have another crack?
If I can find the list again I will update the "team" with their origins as I know them.

Gerry you are from Nudgee?, that cracks me up. My dad went there and he says he would rather vomit in a jar everyday then send me there. Nudgee did not win 1st IV this year they didn't even come 3rd did they?

And Burgs Larkham captain, seeing as Sharpe wasn't named as one of Knuckles vice captains.

Each to his own O'Regan...what was your old mans name?

As for the First IV I am not sure how the tennis team went.

If you meant the Rugby XV then yes they came 3rd, but having won the most premierships in GPS (36) and produced 20 Wallabies then it doesnt hurt to share it around.

I didn't realise that it was mutually exclusive O'Reagan?
By that rationale I assume you were good at sport?

Richie Borwn from Julia Creek in QLd should be 7

Fava comes from Kiama so he shopuld be 8

Would promote Kanaar ahead of Chisholm

    these are just some options.
