Southern Districts play host to Randwick in the ABC TV Game of the Day for Round 16 of the Tooheys New Shute Shield. Five matches will be decided on Saturday, while Sunday afternoon football returns to T.G Millner Field when Eastwood host Gordon.

Southern Districts (3rd) v Randwick (5th) at Forshaw Rugby Park (3:10pm, ABC TV)
Southern Districts have lost four of their last five matches and need to arrest their slide down the Tooheys New Shute Shield ladder when they meet Randwick at Forshaw Rugby Park.
The Rebels have been struck by injury and suspension in recent times with the losses of Dan Palmer, Radike Samo, Sitaleki Timani, Josh Tatupu, John Ulugia, Sam Zlatevski, Rome Nifo and Gareth Morton coinciding with their run of outs. Samo and Morton are back this week while Marshall Milroy returns to the top grade at fullback and should provide some surety to the backline.
Randwick have at times shown they could be premiership contenders, however they have lost their last three matches when facing teams in the top six which throws into question their ability to play the big games. The Wicks are a different side when Drew Mitchell and Kurtley Beale are on board, however they will have to do without those stars for much of the remainder of the season.
Tim McGann appeared off the bench for Randwick last weekend and this week will start on the side of the scrum, while Lala Lam is also back at flanker.

Northern Suburbs (8th) v Sydney University (6th) at North Sydney Oval (3:00pm)
Sydney University has the opportunity to entrench themselves further inside the top six when they meet Northern Suburbs at North Sydney Oval.
The Students are building momentum on the back of four wins from their last five games including big victories over Southern Districts and Warringah in the last fortnight. A quality forward pack has been providing the base for that success and it gets further strengthened tomorrow with Ben McCalman returning after making his Test debut last weekend. Australian U20s flyer Greg Jeloudev also gets an opportunity on the wing.
Northern Suburbs gave Manly a run for their money last weekend however their good performances have been far too rare to see the Shoremen in contention for a semi-final place. Recent wins over West Harbour and Gordon will give the home side confidence, however on paper this task looks too tough.
Norths will be wearing a special commemorative jersey in tomorrow's match to raise funds for the North Shore Heart Research Foundation. The Shoremen will be sporting a predominantly black jersey, with the Foundation's heart-shaped logo emblazoned in red across the front.

West Harbour (9th) v Manly (1st) at Concord Oval (3:00pm)
West Harbour's playoffs aspirations have slumped in recent weeks however that will not stop them going into this Round 16 match hopeful of pulling off an upset over Manly at Concord Oval.
The Pirates are one of only three teams to take down the Marlins in 2010, with their come-from-behind one-point win one of their best performances of the season. However since that day the Pirates have only managed to win three more matches, and have failed to gain a victory in their last six games.
Manly on the other hand continue to ride the crest of a wave at a time when last season their campaign was falling apart. The Marlins last loss was a narrow defeat at the hands of Sydney University in round nine, however since then Manly has scored a maximum 30 competition points from their last six matches.
Nemani Nadolo has been named on the wing for the Marlins in what will likely be his last appearance for 2010 before linking with Bourgoin in France.

Warringah (7th) v Penrith (11th) at Pittwater Rugby Park (3:00pm)
Two straight losses have dealt Warringah's finals aspirations a telling blow however they can maintain touch with the top six with a victory over Penrith at Pittwater Rugby Park.
And if their position on the table is not enough motivation in itself, a look back to their first meeting this season should certainly fire up the Rats. On that occasion Warringah travelled to Warringah looking to build momentum after a victory over the defending champions, only to go down by one-point in one of the upsets of the season.
The other major upset of 2010 was when the Emus downed Southern Districts last weekend which has Penrith in a great mood to cause more trouble. The Emus have won as many games as West Harbour and Gordon this year and only trail them on the competition ladder due to bonus points.

Eastern Suburbs (4th) v Parramatta (12th) at Woollahra Oval (3:00pm)
Eastern Suburbs are still hopeful of a late season run to the top two and have the chance to pile on the premiership points when they host Parramatta at Woollahra Oval.
The Beasts were unlucky not to snatch a late draw last weekend against second-placed Eastwood, however two bonus points were enough to keep them ahead of Randwick on the competition ladder.
Many eyes this week will be on Easts prop Daniel Roach who makes his first grade starting debut. The son of former rugby league international Steve Roach, Daniel has had stints at Ulster and in France before joining Easts this year.
Parramatta have made a late change to their team announced earlier this week with James Riddell replacing Josh Kron in the second row.

Eastwood are looking like genuine title contenders in 2010 and have an opportunity to keep pressure on front-runners Manly when they face Gordon at T.G. Millner Field on Sunday.
The Woodies used a 'get out of jail free' card last weekend with a Lachie Turner intercept two minutes after full-time ensuring they locked in their eighth win from their last nine matches. Eastwood have lost just one match at home this year, and will be hoping to keep that run going with Melbourne-bound utility Jimmy Hilgendorf moving into the No.10 jersey this week.
Gordon are still stuck in tenth place on the ladder, with last weekend's win over West Harbour - their second of their year against the Pirates - keeping the Highlanders ahead of Penrith on the competition ladder. The motivation of not slipping behind the Emus on the competition table could be enough to see Gordon provide a stern test for Eastwood on Sunday.
