The guys in suits along with Westie did a great job of revving up the crowd one game last season. Maybe they could be our regular cheerleaders!

I reckon Sharpie is right - some wit on here will come out with something which could be as unique to Perth as swing low is to England.

We make heaps of noise and have a ball at the games why not make that noise a chant or something. Someone will just come out with it and suddenly it will happen - lets face it rugbywa peps are on here as much as the trolls.

    Western Western Western For..ce
    Go the For..ce

    JOC rocks
    Sharpie Cuts
    We're gonna total the boks
    For..ce

or something completly different - next person to mention cheerleaders in this thread gets moderated..... or a chant/song that they can bop to in your imagination

There must be another negro spiritual that we can use as a Force chant!
The english managed to do it with Swing Low, though it has no relevance to the game, and no pommy I've asked has been able to explain how it became associated with England rugby!
How about "Oh happy day" or "glory glory hallelujah"

Glory Glory might be more suited to the other tenants but if I were them I'd go for it

That's an easy one to answer. Well it is for an old f@rt that played rugby in England back in the '70's. That was before it became a song to be sung at twickenham etc

Any post-match beer on a Saturday especially - but also mid-week on occasion - involved any number of 'games' and songs. Songs mostly with distorted lyrics that did not leave much to the imagination. In the case of the negro spiritual, it was accompaied by a rapid series of hand gestures to 'illustrate' every word (yes, every word).

So with apologies to those who know ........

Put your hands together and swing your arms from left to right = "swing"
Now lower your arms and swing = "low"
fingers to lips and kiss = "sweet"
imagine holding the reigns and geeing up the geegees = "chariot"
    ahem "coming"
"forth" = fourth = four fingers
"to" = two = two fingers

    You get the idea.

A very popular beer accompanying exercise that spread from club to club pretty rapidly and ended up being sung in the pubs around Twickenham and eventually at the rugby matches. Although England didn't play much rugby in the '70's and won even less

One thing the English could teach the Welsh was how to do more than just drink beer after match

    a starter for ten ..........

    Well they're West Australian heroes
    All legends of their kind
Playing tough and like a cyclone
    Leaving other teams behind
    Not worried about tomorrow
They've got one thing on their mind
    Super fifteen champions
One day soon they all will be
oh oh oh he's a Western Force man
oh oh oh he's a Western Force man

A sea of Blue supports them
Each week we chant and sing
    Never tiring in our efforts
To help our Force boys win
oh oh oh I'm a Western Force man
oh oh oh I'm a Western Force man
