Very disappointing, but we were well beaten by a more fluent team. Sadly, what I said last week was on the money. Our attack was again flatfooted and static (with a couple of notable exceptions) and our handling was worse. As for our options...I just can't understand all those quick taps when you are kicking at altitude and the line-out is solid. I can understand the desire for a quick game, but surely getting deep in their territory and pressuring the line would have been the more intelligent choice? As for little toe-pokes through and uncontested kicks to the opposition - well, I'm tolerable certain that my feelings are well known in general, let alone when they lead directly to opposition tries.

Sadly, this time we weren't playing the Lions. On top of our own poor skills, we made the same tactical choices as the Blues with a similar lack of execution and suffered the same fate. It certainly wasn't the performance I'd hoped for leading into the Sharks match, but it will give them something to prove. Watching the Sharks at the moment though....well, it will be a good one to win.

Well then, 20-14 to the Sharks! Makes the equation easy then:

Bulls finish top regardless. Stormers finish second if they win against the Bulls, fourth if they lose. So it will be interesting to see what happens in that match then...two SA semis and a potential derby final if the Bulls lose, perhaps only the derby semi if they win. I wonder which SARU would prefer and who the Bulls would rather face two weeks from now....um, what is that thing they store rainwater in?

Outside those two, winners from the Waratahs/Hurricanes and Crusaders/Brumbies matches will go through. In what position though - well, it is all on that last match, as usual. The late Stormers try for the bonus point was the death knell for the Reds though and their run is over.

I was very impressed with the Tahs this week... Mitchell was great and Beal was silky.. Their loosies were everywhere as well and created a lot of ball for them

if they play like that against the Canes then the Tahs will walk it...
Brumbies will need to lift one notch to beat the Crusaders.. I think they can do it though.
