At Bayswater you have to buy your kids socks and shorts, even seniors (apart from Premiers) have to buy their own gear.

Saying that, The junior and senior club operate completely independently, having a Juniors president and committee as well as a senior president and committee. Funds are also kept apart. The Juniors run their own clothing store as well. The canteen is also run by the juniors.
Bayswater have 300+ juniors this year

But it ain't good to hear that you guys are having problems. Don't leave try and make a difference.

Two jr committee members resigned not the entire comittee.

Just to let you no facts and not gossip the senior coach was appointed and all funds were allocated for this last year not from as you say jr funds. If you are so out of the loop as you say maybe you should come down and ask the people who are there every thurs at the club instead of feeding gossip mongers.

Shorts and socks are all in at the club so once again you are truley misinformed.

If you feel so strongly about the jrs maybe you should come down and contribute instead of winging about things you don't no about.

Training starts at 5pm hope to see you there.

Jeez - don't you think you would better serve your club but not abusing your jnr's parents? The Rockingham website has no information on any of the concerns raised - perhaps you should start offering the information rather than making people ask.

Not all parents have the time to join in club life - just be thankful that they are sending you their kids.

Yep, sure mate - but the jnr president (and others) resigned after yrs of doing the hard yards, which counted for nothing and were told to mind their own business and subsequently were left know choice but to resign.

I sure hope it's not always like this in clubland - esp junior clubland.

Well well, somebody is putting themselves on the line aren't they.
I agree with chertubler and would certainly advise that any written accusations should have some solid evidence to back them up.
The "Junior President" ( never was one, Junior Secretary) and others under her influence, left the Club because of a personallity conflict with another Committee member that she could not get over.
The suggestion that "junior" money was spent to secure the Premier coach is ludicrous, and as already stated by a previous poster, arrangements were made in gaining the coach very early in the year before training commenced.
In fact, Rockingham juniors run with the senior club and not independently, and therefore are majorly funded by the whole club. There is no such thing as junior or senior money.
With RugbyWA taking the lions share of the junior rego fees, there is still a great deal of expense involved in running the junior section of the club.
Yes it has been disruptive at the club in the junior ranks since the resignations, but the club are working through it and need, and value, the support of the parents and young players.
As for the distribution of shorts and socks, they were here for all the juniors 7 weeks ago and were taken for embroidery by junior committee members to a new business, promoted by them, at that time.
The business tuned out to be a disaster and the shorts were only located and sent to another embroiderer last week.
This twat, who could not be located for most of that time, kept the shorts and did not do a thing with them. He also ripped the club off for $2000, which has only just now been recovered.
There are presently ongoing auditing investigations regarding Junior finances, sponsors and fundraising from the 2009 season.
I guess like all clubs, there are just too few people doing far too much work, and there are always others who offer nothing but criticism.
Rockingham has a hellava good bunch of hard working committee members who often put in as much as 70 hours a week for the club, not just attending trainings and games.
Rockingham also have an open door policy with regard to access to the commitee and President, and as always, anyone with an axe to grind should attend a committee meeting to air their greivance, and maybe put their hand up to share some of the substantial workload of running a club of this size.
Next committee meeting is at 7.00pm on Monday 10th May at Lark Hill.
Maybe we'll see you there, but I suspect not. You won't be anonymous.
I will have no further comment on this issue on this public forum, as I find it fascinating that some people feel the need to berate the club and it's committee here, with a serious lack of facts.
Some of these unfounded accusations could quite easy find their way into the court room.
    All very sad really.

Ruahine, Perhaps you should come to the next club committee meeting to be held at 7pm Monday the 10th May and get your facts right. The committee did not want the junior secretary (not president, as there is no such person at our club and never has been) to resign, in fact she was asked on numerous occasions to stay but was unable to put aside personal issues. Two things, that you are obviously unaware of are. Her work with the club was very much appreciated and she was always told so, this can be backed up by committee minutes, if you wish to show you face we will show you them willing. Two it is now none her business what goes on at the club as it was her decision alone to resign from the club and move onto another club. So perhaps Ruahine you should find out the truth before you go putting incorrect information on public websites, and quite frankly what club needs people like you in there club if all you have to offer is negativity. Feel free to take your kids where you like.

Junior commitee drama has to be the most boring part of rugby. And i'm pretty sure its already been metioned, no one cares. Go and b*tch somewhere else. They would need to make a whole new website if people started complaining about their commitee's on the internet.

Clyclops rugby clubs are not for sending your kids to, they are not baby sitting services, our club has more than enough junior kids interested in playing rugby.
Also had inofrmation relating to juniors been sent to the appointed people it would then have been posted on the web site. Any concerns any parent has, it has always been an open committee at our club, you too Cyclops are more than welcome to come to the committee meeting on Monday night and air your grievences and maybe put you hand up to help. We are all very busy these days in our lives, but because of our passion for rugby whether it is junior or senior we are happy to give our time. From a club member with no children or partner playing at the club (but I have been happy to be involved with this great club for twenty years)
