Each week, Greg Growden and Rupert Guinness pick the form Australian Super 14 team. Number of times selected in team in brackets.

    15: Peter Hynes (Reds) (4)
    14: Adam Ashley-Cooper (Brumbies) (3)
    13: Will Chambers (Reds) (3)
    12: Berrick Barnes (Waratahs) (2)
    11: Lachie Turner (Waratahs) (4)
    10: Quade Cooper (Reds) (7)
    9: Will Genia (Reds) (8)
    8: Leroy Houston (Reds) (2)
    7: David Pocock (Force) (3)
    6: Scott Higginbotham (Reds) (5)
    5: Nathan Sharpe (Force) (8)
    4: Adam Byrnes (Reds) (2)
    3: Salesi Ma'afu (Brumbies) (2)
    2: Saia Faingaa (Reds) (2)
    1: Pek Cowan (Force) (1)

Player of the round: Will Genia. Week in week out he is a standout, and an instrumental reason for the Reds being the great Super 14 entertainers.

Try of the round: Adam Ashley-Cooper. A marvellous drive, twist and swivel to score what should have been a try, but wasn't because of dreadful refereeing.

Personally I would have had Hodgson and Brownie in the backrow with pocock, Ioane in place of Turner, laurie weeks in place of mafu and Anthony faingaa in place of barnes

I would have replaced Faingaa with Whittaker he even outscored him in fantasy rugby
Ben Daily was great and If you look at commitment then Jack Kennedy must get the position prop.
Compared to his performance last week Scott Higginbotham did nothing there was half a dozen players that played better than him including Matt Hodgson
Leroy Houston was ok but Richard Brown would have been my choice for the number 8 position

I've nothing against Houston and Higginbotham (Higginbotham should be in the Wallaby squad this year), but Hodgo, Bam Bam and Brownie monstered the Crusaders back row (anyone see McCaw or even hear his name mentioned in the commentary?).

how can you not give a hookers run the try of the week?

bloody ducks, the one team that wasa punching above its weight in terms of ladder position, only get a couple...

I watched the waratahs brumbies match, NO TEAM DESERVED POINTS in that crap match.

If anything Genia's no-try was more worthy than AAC's

I dare say they suck pole each week.

How can a no try (regardless of whether or not it should have been awarded) be try of the round?
