    Pissed and Wasted

Well for the last few games I have enjoyed ME Bank Stadium with very little to complain about. My seats are fine and if the state government pulls there finger out I am hoping to move close to the centre of the field in the coming years.

So I will start explaining what little I do have to complain about, after drinking one or two more Super Dry 3.5’s than I should have (gee that stuff goes through quick) I rushed off to the toilet nearing the end of the game and whilst standing at the urinal some of the beer tent staff came in carrying a large plastic tub filled with ice and water. Minding my business and keeping eyes front (as you do) they proceeded past me to the trough on my right, it was a “L” shaped setup but two separate troughs. They then proceeded to tip the water and ice into the trough behind me but because of the ice and sheer amount of water it over flowed onto me and another gent minding our business. I was to say the least livid with piss and water soaking my shoes. Now after complaining to these two gents but not in a position to really have a go at them (tackle out) they left with a brief shrug and a mutter of “sorry”. After finishing I proceeded to the beer tent and complained to the so called “Manager”, pfft incompetent ass. My original complaint was about the soaked shoes but I also asked what the hell they were doing tipping water down the drain when there are heaps of trees around the ground that could probably do with a drink! The manager stammered something about not being allowed to tip the water onto gardens and being completely out of her depth promptly called security over who just apologised further about the incident in that patronising way that means absolutely fuck all. After informing him of what I thought of his apologies without blowing my cool to much I proceeded back to my seat and took it out on the ref who was deserving every abuse I could hurl at him.

So does anyone believe that they wouldn’t be allowed to tip water onto trees? I was thinking of giving ME Bank a call regarding this and see what they come back with. Any thoughts???

I had a Security Guard approach me about 30 minutes before the game started as I was standing on the area above my seats.
He said "take your seat please".
I said "It hasn't started yet and I am waiting for someone"
He said "it doesn't matter - take your seat"

I didn't move and he wandered away to try and intimidate someone else.

Yeah, well you know you look like trouble, Gerry.

Definitely complain, sandgroper. It smacks of laziness, not to mention lack of hygiene.

Did he say where you had to take your seat to?

I had thought that I had run into a wall at the game until I notice it had the word Security written on it.
The fine upstanding young gentleman was a 7 foot 11 inch 400 pound scholar of islander persuasion.
My first thought was 'why are you not on the field wearing Force blue and walking over powder puff blues on your way to the try line'
    He was a walking scrum.

Second thought should have been to give him the contacts for your local Club
