I am well aware of peoples already stated opinion on the subject of cheerleaders. This post was an attempt to defuse this thread by using humor. You know what Humor is dont you Mystic?

As for my choice of 5 If you noticed that the 5 were Administrators/Moderators and Contributors of this Site it could well be considered that the 5 are considered Senior Members of this site. Who else would be qualified to have some fun here then the 5 metioned.

This site is about discussing the Western Force and having fun. You have no problem discussing the Western Force, all you need to do now is try and have some fun doing it at the same time.

Why not try and relaxing a little - you might actually enjoy it.

You really need to get out in the real world once in a while Exile. Let's start with where I live in the Philadelphia area. Our local teams include:

    NFL Eagles

    NBA 76'ers

    AFL Soul

With my years of experience I would be a great addition to your team.

So far, I'm afraid to report, there has been no que at my door. Either we need to rethink our marketing strategy or you guys are not telling me something.

Much has been said about the Shute Shield GF at the SFS on the weekend. So far though, I have not noticed any mention about the fine CHEERLEADERS that were part of the occasion.

I've read all the pro's and con's as to whether The Force should have a cheer squad at home games. Given them due consideration too.

BUT - now it's become a matter of "face". How can a professional outfit like RugbyWA let themselves be outdone by a bunch of part-timers?The time to act is now. Get a Spirit cheer squad together before we are embarrassed even further by the other ARC squads.

I think Lonzy's Idea has merit. Male cheerleaders. It has to be tested of course, and the Spirit/Gold match tomorrow night is an ideal opportunity.

So what say the more aesthetically pleasing of us meet before the game, improvise a couple of routines and give it a go.

My daughter's ballet school will lend us a dozen or so tutus so outfits wont be a problem.

Happy, Innforcer, Gerry, no 8,TLH, TeF, Krusher - can I pencil you in for the inaugeral performance?
