BD, I push for positive comments etc but I agree, Crossy isn't quite cutting it, a good leg drive and an intercept that was a gift (and he'd removed himself from the D line).

Inman does look the goods, and has the hunger. Is the other rooster a midget? What is on Inman's chest? is he giving up smoking?

I think it is a reflection from a light or something shining on his sweat

He has a rugby playing brother as well

The photo is from theShute Shield rugby grand final where Dane played inside centre for Randwick, and Mitch, who lined up for Sydney University at outside centre.

Slightly off the subject, I think its funny that the runner / water boy / messager for the Force is wearing $300 pair of yellow boots and half the players probably have half that price tag with there footy boots - Then again he could be what the Force are after a "flash harry" player in the backline who could weave his magic !!!

Clark did make the comment the last night that he and JOC had the same boots.

P.S. Clark used to be a mungo ball commentator in NZ and he was shit, always dissing Union,..... he is a f kwit. Give me a Phil Kearns anyday.

That is actually Mark de Cruz the team doctor. He even said to me at the Captain's Run in Wellington that he had them in case they needed him as a replacement over there!

Lets give Ryan Cross another chance, he may have been just a bit tentative after damageing his shoulder. If we can have JOC playing at 12 then Cross will combine well, a straight hard runner after JOC has put him through a gap.

While the recruiting staff have copped some flack they also deserve credit for signing guys like Inman and McCalman, both definitely players of the future.

Inman is soft as custard. He missed numerous tackles and was ordinary with ball in hand

Inman has huge potential and has made the leap well in my opinion.
He is still a raw product but he has overshadowed the performances of his Wallaby centre partner to date.

    I agree with Burgs.

You'd have to expect a little 'getting into it' time, he's just stepped up from the Shute Shield for God's sake.

I thought the craptacularity index was pretty low given his situation.

Agreed on all counts, but I do wonder whether he should be on the wing before trying to take the immediate step up at 13. Maybe even running outside Spanner, learning the defensive nuances at Super level...
