    OK, my 2c

Haig is a utility back who we've been able to call on in times of trouble for the entirety of our history.....Truth be told, he wouldn't be first pick in any position of the backline for my team, he also has a bit of an attitude problem (fighting with Henners at the left bank, a disgraceful reaction to a dropped ball over the tryline last year)

That being said, when the injury list is this long, you have to play these kinds of players. I would def put Haig on the bench regardless. Maybe, given that the start hasn't really worked for him so far, possibly a bench behind one of the young, speedy wingers would be a good idea, so you could hook the kid if he gets into trouble, but you might just unearth something far better than Haig.

Don't expect to find a highlight reel Ex, the only one you'll find is the disallowed try against the 'Saders!

Agreed - he's a handy utility back, and where would we be without that in the current injury situation?

Plus - kudos to him for going through pre-season training, and presumably week-in, week-out training too, each year, with precious little hope of a place in the starting line-up, just the prospect of sitting on the bench waiting for one of the pretty boys with the (possibly? allegedly?) contractually agreed starting position to get tired or injured.
Saw him on tour with the Force in Newcastle (2008?) - seemed a pretty good team player from what I saw there.

Incidentally, he got nicknamed Craig Sari there 'cos that's what the announcer at the Twenty20 cricket kept calling him - don't know if it stuck though...

He is relaible and rarely screws up which is what you want in an in experianced side. Also he is no Digby Ioane because he is a team player. If you have ever seen him at club level, every time he is given time or space he makes a line break or scores.

Anyway he does his job fine so no need to complain.

I think Haig Sare is a good player, he is up to Super 14 level and plays pretty consistently. He rarely does mistakes and does alot of good things in attack.
Is that what you guys do on this forum, every week pick a Western Force player that you want to bag, who is next weeks players?
