I thought his Japanse club had folded which was the reason why we can now sign him. I had assumed that this also meant that he didn't have a club to go to next season in Japan...

Maybe we could sign him for the rest of the year with another year option...

means he has no contract NOW. What Japanese club in their right mind would not sign him next season? Wouldn;t be suprised to see him move to Kobe to rejoin Hilgy ...

Great to see Spanner back, would like him to sign for longer though, and welcome to David Hill. I hope he likes the hot weather

    My team against the Chiefs

    9 - Sheenan
    10 - Hill or Bart
    11 - Spanner
    12 - Cross
    13 - Mitch Inman
    14 - DHP
    15 - JOC

    Bench - Tatupu,COY,Hil or Bart.

Looking good for the chiefs with the numbers and stars coming back slowly from injury. Isn't it funny for 2 - 3 season we have an all star backline, some players leaving for more time, now we are hit with injuries from every diferent direction. I'm so "over the moon" that the old son in Spanner is back wearing the blue of the mighty FORCE !! I could see Spanner in the centres when Cullet and Cam come back in.

In fairness, our blue is actually pretty close to a midsummer WA sky. Sadly the term has been commandeered and bastardised by a team actually wearing baby blue, so it is all bad connotations. We'll just have to work with "ocean blue".

Is the ocean blue not merely a reflection of the blue of the sky?

I recall an old episode of QI which said that water is actually slightly blue, but I think you're right GIGS.

Actually, I've just looked up the Dulux colour charts (http://www.dulux.com.au/colour/colour-wall) and I think the closest to Force blue is A329 - Mitchell Blue! The closest to the Tah's blue is A333 - Sky Babe.
