"Meanwhile, Wallabies scrum coach Patricio Noriega was monitoring the progress of Force front-rower Pek Cowan at yesterday's training.

Cowan has been moved from loosehead prop to hooker and is making a bid for the Wallaby No. 2 jumper.

"He has improved a lot. He showed a lot of improvement last year," Noriega said."

    Interesting from another thread article.

Wearing his Wallaby scrum coach hat, no doubt. Didn't he have a similar role with the Brumbies before the ARU appointment? Wonder who paid his fare to Perth.

Patricio Noriega watching Pek... good to see the ARU coaching getting involved with the AUS S14 teams...

Runners ran up over 50+ points against last years Shute Shield winners Uni as an opener for the preseason match.... They had as many as they wanted...

Yeah buts thats a Sydney Uni side minus a whole bunch of stars who are playing Super 14. More than half their squad must play in the S14.
