    Andre goneski, are we rooted?

After Andres hammy disaster ruling him out for the entire season, are we well and truly rooted?

    Who plays at 10 now?

Can we get Jimmy back, like tonight??

    Devo'd.

Obviously a major blow however much of the reason for getting him in the first place would have already been achieved with the most intense period of interaction with the Squad having taken place already during the pre-season, so it is not a total write of as some may be feeling.

One option may be to try and get Jimmy back but looking forward they can only really focus on the Squad in hand.
Bart has a huge Rugby resume' of experience and shouldn't be undervalued at this level.

Another far less likely option is to set up an ongoing feude by cutting the Rebels lunch with Cipriani and buying out his contract.

Perhaps another slightly left field would be to sound out Ben Gollings who was last signed with Tasman in NZ.

All in all, pretty f'ing far from ideal but not the end of the world.

added: Hopefully he will see fit to hang around and continue to share his experience rather than just leave for home.

My advice would be not to use the Rabbit because it takes away from positions his talents are special for.

I would try to contact Daruda who last I heard was leaving Agen. Meantime I would use Bartho and have a look at Hunt.

Another alternative - I watched Robbie Coleman for the Brumby Runners in Canberra last night. He's only a youngster but he may be the best flyhalf in Oz without a Super contract.

He's in the Brumbies pro Academy so he's trained up. It will be win-win. The Force could get a flyhalf for a few weeks until they get a permanent replacement and Coleman will get that experience.

Is not as though the Brumbies are going to run short of flyhalves and it could be made conditional on his return if disaster strikes the Ponies.

If Bart has got half a brain he would have already spoken to Mitch and said don't worry about 10 I have got it covered. If he hasn't then can someone please call Jimmy and find out how fast he can pack his bags?

IMO Dauruda has never done enough to impress me.

Hopefully some of the lads have Jimmys number after the catch up session they had in Canberra last year.

Meh. It was bound to happen at some point in time. I don't feel as disappointed as I thought I would probably because I didn't think we were going to make the finals this year. I'd really like to see Scott Daruda come back. I hope his gripe was with lack of game time rather than with Mitch. He'd probably make the transition a fair bit quicker too.

Mines for Jimmy but i aint holding my breath. Brock would be really good but that aint gunna happen either. Looks like Bart is going to play 10 and if he is one dimensional then JO'C really needs to come back into 12 to add spice to the mix.

HMMMM maybe they could get Latham to play 15 for this year..........................

Last I had heard was that Hilgendorf was going for the Japanese national team for the 2011 world cup.
If he comes back to Aus for the S14 season will that kill his eligibility? How do these things work?

JOC should be at 12 especially if Shep is at 100%

Scott Daruda is the most viable option because he seems unhappy in France. The fact is he was never really given a shot at 10 after his first season and his passing game was his strongest skill. He wasn't great at 12 but with Giteau there we never really got to see what he had to offer at 10. Jimmy Hilgendorf would also be great but soooo unlikely it hardly seems worth mentioning. Something will probably come up by round 5. Until then I'm sure Bartholomeusz will do fine until then.... if I'm reading the Reds game score right (20-0 to the Force) he doesn't seem to be doing too badly.
