The pack is sensational. I was well impressed with Fairbrother at tighthead
    The backrow was magnificent
Force knockers are in for some surprises
Backs always do very little except kick good ball away. We'll be fine

Agreed. The coach had recruited for a stronger tight 5 anyhow. I thought mid table before yesterday's news. Happy if they can prove me wrong.

Don't agree with your report card on Pek, Rex. Thought he showed enough to get another start against the ponies. A little wayward but they managed to drag most of them in.

I thought he scrummed well and he is very aggressive at the breakdown. I like him. One of my pet hates though is lineout throwers that stink. It's dead set easy these days with lifting. The opposition aren't all over you with elbows and arm pulling. You have to really suck to lose your own throws and bad throwing is usually the culprit

Says in the West that with the Japanese season finishing next week Hilgy might be the go unless he is serious about RWC representation with the Cherry Blossoms. Larkham might be a long shot also. I agree with James that Scott Daruda should be given a call as well.

I think it was mentioned before, but I believe that Jimmy should realistically have sights set on a second chance at a Wallaby gig.
With his versatility, with another strong S14 season he would be well in the mix for 22 selection.

Have to feel for pretorious, moving country and clubs what a devastating thing to happen. He is a nice guy who is really enjoying the Perth lifestyle. Best of luck to him in Japan.

The forwards had a great first half, the reds did well to keep the ball away from them in the second half. If they can keep up the good wok during the season then we may surprise some teams.

Are you guys serious about Daruda and Hilgendorf or are you just joking? Neither of those 2 are up to Super 14 standards. Daruda struggled in the second tier French rugby comp and Hilgendorf is struggling to get a start in Japan and when he does play he generally plays full back.
I think The Force will be fine with the players we have this year. With Sheehan/O'Young at 9, Bartholomeuz at 10, Harris at 12, Cross at 13, Shepherd at 14, Sare/Cummins/Haylett Pety at 11 and JOC at 15. At the back end of matches if you want you can switch around the players with Bart moving to 15 and JOC moving to 10, why are you guys trying to make things so complicated?
I hope we try and recruit Toomua from the Brumbies for next season.

    It makes sense
We are all a bit depressed that Pretorius is out for the season
Thanks for shedding a light of reason on our gloomy mood
I was a Hilgendorf fan though. I thought we looked very dangerous with Hilfy at 10 and Gits at 12. Gits of course set up a committee who let him play 10 and get fun foils instread of training, so Hilfy left
