It's been a very disappointing week in sports. The Penguins failed in their bid to repeat as Stanley Cup Champs, and I failed in my bid to win the Gilbert for Time to change my avatar.

On the bright side I still have some Aussie Ale to drown my sorrows.

and the winner is.... Kelv! That's the second time Kelv has taken out first place in a TWF Super14 tipping comp, unfortunately for Kelv, it's also the second time he hasn't qualified for prizes. Gotta read those qualifying rules next time, Kelv.

The prize goes to 2nd overall place getter, Slomo! Which is quite amusing as it was Slomo who donated the prize in the first place. Props to everyone's favourite seppo, LarryNJ coming in a respectable 3rd.

Fantastic, Slomo! Rules will be similar, with the following exceptions:

• I'm extending the margin bonus out to 15 points for the trinations
• The 3 Bledisloe Cup matches are worth DOUBLE POINTS (20 for a tipped win + 30 points for a correct margin which decreases by 2 for each point you are off the margin)
• I've changed what constitutes an "Active" member with regards to qualifying for prizes, you now only need to post a single post once a week during the duration of the competition.
