I still like Greg Crowden's idea of No Pay if you lose. Grand Slam is gone - maybe time to blood O'Connor in centres with Cooper at 10? Ego gits on the bench? With Genia's strong passing - Gits should be flatter asking questions of opposition, putting outside backs into holes.

Gits stands so deep to give him time to assess the opposition defences. This has come about because of his 'bust the line first, then set up my teammates' attitude. That's a great attitude for a second receiver, who doesn't have the ball in his hands every play. He can set himself deep, run the hole and receive the smart pass just in time to step through and make metres by the squillions. it's effective because the flyhalf always has the option to cut him out and give it to the outside centre or the winger who should be running some different angle from Gits.

This approach CLEARLY doesn't work when you're the first receiver, the opposition defence rushes up and double teams you, forcing you into a mistake, running into massive cover or shoveling a poor pass to a teammate who is out of position and not expecting it.

Please please please put Gits into 12 and my neighbor's brown dog into #10. shit with Gits in 12 blind freddie could play 10!

Hell I don't care what he does on the field just give him some bloody kicking practise and get him back to the level he was at this time last year. If he was still sitting on 80 we'd have 3 wins under our belt right now.
