That's a lot of faith on two converted props and a rookie(ish). Given's Pek's size he could be an awesome hooker, but if a hooker became available I reckon the Force should at least talk to them. It's just that the pool of Australia-qualified Super 14 quality hookers is pretty small.

No announcement has been made by the EWF - chatting to Sharpie the other night and got the impression that the Force are still trying to get another hooker- the ARU knocked back a 26 year old from another country on the grounds of age - to old ????? - so I havn't forgotten - and am really hanging out for either a: a signing or b: they can't get one of suitable quality - the latest it will be settled is by the first game - expecting a statement about it as most people over here are admitting it is a weakness so the journos are actually on the case
