    Pivot switch looming for Wallabies

Robbie Deans seems poised to install new vice-captain Berrick Barnes at fly-half with Matt Giteau outside on their upcoming tour of Europe.

According to Adam Ashley-Cooper, the Australia coach believes that Barnes is most likely to direct from ten ahead of their fixtures against New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Interesting attempt at diplomacy by AAC. "They're both very good directors of the game and great callers, but I guess you've got to play to your strengths" = "The team thinks Giteau isn't as good as Barnesy otherwise I wouldn't be here talking to you now".
