Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldn’t work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically fix the problem. Every kid I knew did that, but how the hell did we all know how to fix the problem? There wa...s no internet or message boards or FAQ’s. We just figured it out. Today’s kids haven't got a fucking clue.

I never actually had a nintendo - but I was doing IT support before the "Internet" as we know it now existed, and frankly have no idea how I survived

You make the most of what you have on you. I had a car (an old car) and I could pretty much repair any problems with a roll of masking tape. Usually the older and more hopeless something is the easier it is to fix.

Thank God - I thought I was a goner. Now all I need to do is carry a roll of gaffer tape around and no worries about a heart attack or other scourges of the old and overweight!!

Maybe I'm mistaking it for something else but didn't Nintendo company start out as some other completely unrelated company to video games doing something like office supplies.

Wasn't there less to go wrong - Time was when a remote had 7 buttons now you need a patient 5 year old to program the bloody thing

It still works as well on the old 8 Bit NES, I dug mine out and set it up yesterday. Classic!!!
