Perhaps, but you can colour me worried - we'll have eight home games versus the NRLs thirteen, and what visibility will there be if we are posting "Ground Full, Stay Away" signs each week? How quickly might they become the priority tenant, with the cash to splash on young players?

No kidding on ticket prices though - it was a couple of deep breaths this year! Still, I've sworn off any food or drink at that particular venue, as I'm profoundly sick of plastic beer out of plastic cups! I'll save it for a more congenial venue afterwards. But if the turnout is poor, they might want to look just a little deeper than merely the venue. Let's hope the rugby justifies the price....

While last year I paid about $65 for similar seats

(before the Ticketmaster booking charge as well)
Behind the goal posts is iron for the Force isn't it? I thought nickel was at like a 60 degree angle, silver at about 30 and gold at the zero area. Looks like its twice as much for a ticket to see the Wallabies than it is to see the Force.

Meh. I have to go home to Bridgetown that weekend anyway.

I used to have a nickel membership in block 345, but even most of the Iron areas are classed as silver

    My bad.

It's the madness of modern marketing that they put in Platinum seating so that they can call the crummy seats 'Silver' seating and its still sounds good.

I'm going but will reduce the expense by smuggling in 375ml of the best 12yr old carribean rum, which beats the hell out of drinking the dross on offer in spewbiaco and actually allows you to get a buzz on! You all should try it works every time!

Erm, you seem to be suffering a slight misconception, Elf. It's you that will have to do the stripping.

    Please pay for your drink.
