    Congratulations Dave Pocock!

Great to see Dave play for Uni this weekend , as much as we hate them!

It show what the players SHOULD be doing for Rugby in WA instead of taking the Easy $$$$ in Sydney

The Uni and Soaks game deserves a big crowd just for Dave Appearance and setting an example as a pro Rugby player

I thought he had signed for Randwick in Sydney! Good on him for playing locally, but isnt he with the Wallabies training squad?

Yeh thats what I thought too....... seams pointless travelling over for one game unless they are assembling in Perth before going to SA

They did that a few years ago to break up the trip and run a training session here.

They are learning from the that the trip from here is not so daunting.

Wasn't there an article today/yesterday saying that he was playing Sydney club rugby with JO'C this weekend or was that another weekend?
I find it hard to believe that he would come over here to play for Uni when he signed for a Sydney team, the Wallabies reconvened training in Sydney on Wednesday and they don't fly to SA until atleast next weekend. Seems odd and uneconomical that he would come back just to play for uni...If he is coming back just to play for Uni then good on him though, full credit to him for giving back to grass roots rugby in the State.

He's playing for uni according to The (absolutely boring and repetitive) Rugby Club tonight. Good on ya Bam.

I reckon it sounds just like Bam actually. He probably said he was expected to play club rugby and this is his club..........probably also paid for the ticket himself!

Is that going to far? he is an impressive young man!

He probably just has some stuff to sort out before heading off to SA.

But hey, given that logistics effectively force the Wallaby squad to play in Sydney, maybe they can muster here before going on to SA and all show out for Perth clubs next week...

Pocock playing for Uni is an absolute travesty. None of the Force players have been allowed to play locally thus far, and have been told to play in NSW and Qld.

Now, out of the blue, he plays for a nohoper team with no finals chances against a team verging on the four, where a loss can virtually end their season.

I'd be talking conspiracy theories if it wasn't Associates that is actually being shafted by RugbyWA.

Ah brokendown, there you see the difference between an open and fair minded individual with the interests of Rugby as a whole at heart, namely me, and a miserable Nedlands hack such as yourself.

Jeez Fulv, you'd think he was playing against Paly!

The Force players have been 'allowed' to play either Local or Sydney club rugby......the fact that none of the stars has chosen to do so yet is irrelevant, they were only allowed to play in eastern states clubs, not required.
I reckon he's doing his bit to support local club rugby and more force players should do it....you're just pissed because all the guys Paly tried to poach ended up accepting offers from richer clubs!

Would that that were true Gigs, but I struggle to believe it. Longbottom is playing in Sydney, despite all his ties being here. To me, that negates the whole idea that they are being given a free choice to maintain their ties over East and clearly implies that the Force/RugbyWA has given up on Perth club rugby as anything but a talent identification tool (at best).
