WA AMAZONS FINISH FOURTH IN NATIONAL CHAMPS AFTER LOSS TO BRUMBIES

The WA Women's State team have been beaten 17-7 by the Brumbies in the third-place playoff on the Gold Coast today.

A try in the dying seconds secured the win for the ACT side, after the score had been 10-7 for the vast majority of the second half.

WA went down to Sydney 29-0 in yesterday's fixture, with Wallaroo star Debbie Hodgkinson sitting out the game with a knee injury.
