Gits got in the 09 Wallabies squad based on his performances wearing the Force's jersey this season not because he put his Brumbies jersey (for next season) on the other day. To quote mudskipper "this is PR BS"

I guess the Brumbies PR gig the other day was to get value more out of Gitswearing their strip... He'll train in Brumbies or Wallabies gear... I don't think its a mistake by the journo?

Gits got in early and picked up his Brumbies kit while in Canberra this week... Technically he is a Brumby now his Force contract has finished... What is interesting that often when the Wallabies train they train in their provincial kit... I guess for press shots extra...But then again perhaps he just wanted to be more comfortable....

as you seem to know all skip...will giteau be named in the test series programmes as a brumbies player or ewf?......me thinks it'll be the force......

You can take some consolation in that you can catch SoO 1 tomorrow night in prime time @ 7:30pm.

I was wearing a Blues shirt in Bunnings today. Two of their ladies went out of their way to tell me "You lot are gonna get so thrashed tomorrow night" Hope Locky and Co are overconfident too. I've got one of TEF's feelings in the water happening. The Baby Blues to go 1-0.

Saw the vision from training on TV last night.

Nope...didnt see any Force kit, no Brumbies kit.

Seems they were training in WALLABY gear.

The ONLY time I have seen provincial gear at Wallaby training is when they may invite a local player for contest training ie Angus Scott helping in the scrums a couple of years ago.

Who really gives a shit what they are training in? He cares what some journo put their team down as? We all know that Gits was a player for the Force for the last 3 seasons and will play for the Brumbies next season. It is completely irrelevent. They are all Wallabies now regardless of which province they come from so I'll be supporting each and everyone of them, Tahs included, when they run out in the green and gold..

You misunderstand… its more professional for them to be in their Wallabies attire when on all Wallabies duties…. that includes training...

But for the past few years they’ve often been in their provincial training kits...
