Discipline an issue for SA teams

South Africa do not only have the dubious distinction of having three sides in the bottom four of the Super 14 table, but they also have the worst disciplinary record of the three SANZAR countries in the competition.

The five South African rugby franchises competing in the Super 14 have been responsible for 50 per cent of the yellow and red cards issued in the season to date - and the Lions as a team and Bulls flanker Deon Stegmann as an individual are the frontrunners in these two categories. ...........................

..........................The side with the best disciplinary record is the Western Force, who have not been carded at all, while both the Stormers and the Blues have only been yellow-carded once.

The teams and their cards are:
    (All yellow except where indicated)
    Lions 9
Bulls 6 (of which one was red)
Sharks 6 (of which one was red)
    Hurricanes 6
    Cheetahs 5
Highlanders 5 (of which one was red)
    Crusaders 4
    Waratahs 3
    Chiefs 3
    Reds 3
    Brumbies 2
    Blues 1
    Stormers 1
    Force 0

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

SA teams may get the cards but your table indicates that the top 4 teams currently are there in the top of the fowl play......... maybe 2010 could be the year of yellow cards

“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White

The finished the season with NO yellow or red cards.

Does this mean we don't cheat as badly as every other team.
