'Rectangular' Codes Unite for Common Good

RugbyWA, Perth Glory and West Australian Rugby League will tomorrow (Friday 24 April, 10am WST) launch a report calling for the upgrade of Members Equity Stadium.

The independent report has been produced by L.E.K Consulting and was commissioned by the ‘rectangular’ football codes to assist their work with the State Government to secure funding for Town of Vincent to move ahead quickly with the proposed upgrade of MES.

Greg Harris, CEO of RugbyWA, Scott Gooch, CEO of the Perth Glory, and a representative from the WARL will launch the report and will be accompanied by Nick Catania of the Town of Vincent.

What does "launch a report" mean? I like the imagery of sticking in a rocket and then up someone, but who or what and how?

    Nice imagery indeed!

Very interested to hear about that tomorrow. Wonder if said report will be up for public consumption?

Yeah, some powerful imagery there AS!

Sounds a hell of a lot more spectacular than merely announcing, publishing, releasing or tabling.

Perhaps there's gonna be a bit of a shindig with champers and lots of razzamatazz... maybe even fireworks and cheerleaders as well. Yeeeeeehah

I know someone who works for the WSW. I could email them if you like. Or does someone on here already work there? Not sure what you meant.

There have been 2 articles about this very subject in the WSW, helped out by Swee, Jargan, GIGS and one or two others.

Not really. The fixtures are running in a rotation system so it was either going to be you guys, the Blues, the Highlanders or the Crusaders.

I think all 2010 Fixtures are identical to 2006 - means last 3 games on the road in South Africa for us next year
