Subiaco = house of our pain

Reds should read something like we're not gonna win but expect to be thoroughly entertained...

I can't believe we have so many votes for "We should win, but something will stuff it up and we'll lose". If you are true supporters then pick up your acts and get positive about our team!

What's the point of supporting a team if you don't believe they'll win? I'm not talking Pollyanna-head-in-the-clouds, our team never does wrong, but isn't the belief that WE WILL eventually win out (we can beat anybody, at any time at any place) the most important reason for supporting a team? Anything less and you risk turning The Force into a parody, the "Lovable Losers" a la baseball's Chicago Cubs, who haven't won a championship since 1906, which seems to be fine with the club's ownership, who rake in millions $$$ from supporters who pay good money to watch their team while fully believing that a soul-stifling defeat awaits, denying their club yet again... It's fine to accept that your team is not going to win every game, but I can't see going into any game with a fatalistic, defeatist attitude, no matter how many prior disappointments...

so you can't be a true suporter if you don't think your team can win?

    fair weather fans are we?

my german mates that support their local team "eintract frankfurt" never expect them to win.
do they love their club? TOTALY!!
are they positives about the teams performance?.. not at all.

i think you can be realistic about your club and still love it to death despite it's faults.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I've said I expect to win, but what I really expect is that every single player throws everything he has into the game which SHOULD result in a win.

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

    Eh, yes, well..........let me explain.........

The Force should win on paper and with the right attitude they should win all of their games...they are more than capable. The Dockers....well that is hard to explain....I still tip them most weeks though.....probably why I'll never win a tipping comp.
