Sage, is that you with Big Dell?

a beersnake involves getting hundreds of empty plastic beer cups (usually thrown at the creater of the beer snake from all over the stands) and joining them. I believe the minimum length for it to become a beer snake is 1.5 metres (5 foot for our american audience) - anything shorter is known as a beerworm

Haha, I have a feeling he was on his best behavior. I didn't really mention my crusade, just said it was an honour to have a beer with him and my pic taken.

It sure is me with the Dell man. He's taller than what I had figured.

Yup, that's indeedy what a beersnake is, the one pictured was bigger than the photo suggests as it was resting on the ground. There's always the blues game this weekend to improve on a good thing!

In the pic of subi at sunset you can see where our viewpoint was. We were second tier on the corner.. Bay 345 (I think).

biggest beersnake I've ever partaken in was at the cricket in Amsteelven - about 10km south of central Amsterday for a game of Aus vs India.

The snake actually joined two grandstands, supported in the middle by a really small bloke on the shoulders of a really tall bloke. I'll try and dig up a photo of it as it was surely something to behold.

true - from the basic fact that you can drink a lot more beer in six hours than you can in 2

still, at least you can have them at the Rugby... w@nkers at the SCG will kick you out for making a snake!

Cops and security came and broke the beersnake up, but didn't kick anyone out at least.
