Greg Barden (born 8 February, 1981 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia) is a rugby union player for Bristol Rugby in the Guinness Premiership. He plays as a centre.

Anyone from the local scene know of Greg or how he has slipped through the net?
Apparently he debuted for England Sevens in Dubai last year, but that is about all I can find. The couple of photos would indicate he would be around the 185cm, 95kg mark but that is a total guess.

Position Centre / Full Back

Greg, a former Royal Marine, joined Bristol for the 2007-8 season and made his first team breakthrough late in the season.

Capable of playing full back or centre, Greg was a first team squad regular in the early stages of the 2008-9 season and has been featured in the England Sevens squad in the IRB World Sevens Series.

would the former Royal Marine part of that bio possibly indicate that he moved from Perth to England as a youngster?

He may have transfered over though, mystery that I am sure will be solved by our brainstrust!
