    Try telling the Reds they have too many players, especially scrumhalfs. Or the Force in 2006.

    it just means that coaches are going to need to be slightly more flexible, all teams could probably cut a backrower/lock and a outside back

    im actually pretty comfortable with the stocks in both those positions..
    the Reds academy provides strong depth in both those positions

    I wouldn't have thought the intent was to hoard more players in the academies, but that is probably what will happen - so more players, getting less real game time.
