    Karmichael Hunt

well the rumour is that his pretty keen on switching to union, he has achieved all there is to achieve in League and wants to do the same in Union, also wants to get the chance to travel the world a bit.

Rumour also has it he is pretty keen on playing in Australia as well, secret negotiations with the ARU perhaps?

Not an issue, simply the standard "I don't think I'm getting paid enough" clause

Be better money for the Reds than Turinui anyway.
I wouldn't mind him playing Union as an outside back, there is no questioning his skills and ability in both attack and defence.
Would arguably be the best convert yet.

from what i have heard, its not the Reds but another team..

He could very well be signed as a fullback, there is a distinct shortage of fullbacks in Australia at the moment, so if they were going to sign a league convert, then a fullback would definetly be a realistic idea.

    Hows his kicking game?

I've always had the feeling he is a bit fragile too. PLayed a LOT of footy for a youngish dude.

    You'd get an argument here.

Ryan Cross has a lot of runs on the board. Or do you coun't him as a Rugby convert to League who came home after 8 years in the cold?

He probably wants to get away from the media spotlight in Brisbane as well after his strip club toilet gang bang. That would put his sights on the Perth franchise as nobody would have heard of him. The Force is also losing a lot of big name backs and are in the market with big cash

i think he has been injured twice in the last in the last 4 years, he is actually quite a durable player. He puts his body on the line and has taken some massive hits and has fared quite well.

His kicking game is quite good, obviously he would need to work on it a bit more but he is the secondary kicker in general play for the Broncos behind Lockyer.

His major attributes are his safety under the highball(he is the best in the NRL), on top of that he is quite good defensively and also acts a second ball player for the broncos.

well i wouldnt be so sure, the brumbies are obviously on the search for another outside back since they have already sounded out mitchell.

I think on memory that KH has played union in NZ prior to playing league in Outback QLD. my feeling is the Force is targeting him, tahs dont need him, brumbies are in the market but want mitchell and it only leaves force or the reds.... his not the biggest player running around but good with his feet (both quickness and kicking) a great pickup if we could get him.

I tend to agree Chook. Look at Matty Rogers, fantastic player (and bloke) that he is, I always felt his weakness in rugby was his size. I think Karmichael is a bit the same.
