    Finals?

It appears as though the team are running itself now reminicent of the Brumbies v Nuci saga. They appear to have no on field direction at all.

Are finals just a misguided fantasy with M Giteau coaching the side?

No... the Brumbies senior players took over the team leadership late in the season and went onto win the championship... The Force group players/assistants/management are attempting to do this from the preseason and won't win this years championship on based fridays form...

When has the Force played well in their season opener? Probably the best of the four was the first one. The 8-7 loss to the Highlanders and last years loss to the Sharks were just as bad if not worse than last night. They went on to be strong finals chances by midseason in both of those campaigns so its certainly not a write-off yet.

I'm talking about winning the championship. However They're a chance of a semi spot...

I'm willing to put off judgment until next week. The game wasn't all bad though admittedly not finals material. Having said that you also don't want to peak too early. After one season game I think its a bit harsh to write them off...

I think what was a concern was the force didn't look to integrate any rehearsed plays and just winged it. They were reactionary to the blues attack and looked like they were playing as individuals and not as a team... Without a premeditated astutely directed attack they’re wasting their talented backline...

Sadly to say but if he play like that against stronger teams they’ll lose matches…

If the Brumbies replicate their first 20 minutes against the Highlanders whoever they're playing will rack up a Cricket score

The Force have never been very structured in attack. Perhaps they should be a bit more but that's just their way. Besides which the attack wasn't the problem- the defense and ball retention were.

I'm more worried that the Force are starting to exhibit a lot of similarities to the Chiefs.

Now that fava is gone, there is nobody to organise the boat races and the team bonding sessions. Gits has to race from the change romms post match to get his hair attended to and doesn't have time to sing the team song. It's bad for team harmony and Sharpie should grab him by the throat and throttle him. Mitch has been castrated by the committee and will be watching the replay in a padded cell so he doesn't hurt anybody. Once medicated, he will be allowed to go to training on Monday to hand out encouragement awards

How about some running rugby from the attack coach?

Why are you so aggressive towards Giteau? At least Gits saving the Force on the field...

Even if your right (which going on your track record is unlikely) if the Brumbies start the same way against a better side they will struggle to get back into the contest. Face it they got lucky

He's a mercenary talking up his pay cheque by advertising from Pitt St to Santa's North pole toy factory. We got more value out of Jimmy Hilgendorf.

Gits should have cut a swathe through that Blues team. My old mum could have opened them up
