    Todays Paper Rugby Pull Out

The West Australian has a form guide to this years Super 14 today and is worth a read to see where the rest of the teams are situated. There are three articles by Dave Hughes and one by John Welborn.

Very Positive - Dave Hughes did an interview with Sharpie - the main focus this year is on consistency. Sharpie reckons that this is the first year that there is real competition for spots on the team which is a good thing.

John Welborn took the management angle - i.e. a lot of the bad stuff we have seen from the about Coaches and players will be minimised with the new dedicated Rugby Manager position i.e. Mitch Hardy - he gave Sharpie captaincy ability a big rap as well - which is well justified IMHO.

Good info on how the other teams are shaping up - a lot of new Coaches out there.

That'd be a weekend wrap of sports. 95% gayFL, 2% Rugby, 3 lines of WAFL, tennis, horse racing and...that'd be it.

Last year (and the year before) they had the "Super Rugby" liftout and the Footy liftout ("The Game" I think) and the "Super Soccer" liftout untill Super 14 and A-League and possibly the EPL finished. That was all in the Monday West Australian

Nah, they used to have a Rugby pullout on Mondays the same size as Thursdays. Mainly ads and East Coast reports already quoted on TWF but it was an effort.

I don't encourage propaganda rags by spending money on them, but I am curious, was there anything in the liftout about club rugby?
