Will be a very good use of the $$ that the government should be handing out soon - as long as the opposition support it!

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I've always had a great time in Singapore, plenty of good pubs and if you get a local ex-pat on the case, they can sort out the Happy Hour pub crawl in advance to minimise liquid expenses... I know a couple people who have done the ground work who may be able to assist

If I'm in the SE Asia area at the time, I would most certainly be interested in attending

When I was there I stayed with a friend. She knows all the "all you can eat" places and I never paid full price for a drink. Lots of happy hour places and two for one drinks - mostly cocktails and spirits. And the best thing ever, free drinks for girls on Wednesday nights in Clarke Quay - lychee martinis, vodka and champagne in various places - needless to say that night ended up finishing when the sun was coming up.
I'll get her to start compiling a list of cheap places to eat and drink!!

just looked at tiger airways. they dont do mel->sin. they do mel->per though, so it'd be syd->mel->per->sin via train and tiger airways.

airasia arent any better and from a brief test can be expensive. also they fly to malaysia, so more stopping off.
